COVID-19

The California Department on Aging (CDA)  is working diligently to meet the needs of the aging and long-term care communities.  The CDA has updated their website and has included additional  COVID-19 information.   The department has also included a PowerPoint presentation listing resources for older adults, people with disabilities and families, which can be found at Older Adults, People with Disabilities, and Families Guide to Information and Resources.

Call, text, and (safely) knock on doors to make sure your neighbors, friends, and family are connected and have the support they need! Use this Community Check-In Checklist, then share it with at least five people you know. STAY HOME. SAVE LIVES. CHECK IN. More information can be found on the Engage California website.

We are all monitoring the course of the COVID-19 pandemic along with all of you.  This is an unsettling time and while this is clearly going to hit our aging and disabled population harder, it is also hardest for these populations to access and understand where to find services.

All Californians are welcome to visit the newly launched site for up-to-date information.
